Adele was the musical guest this week; she is an upcoming artist from the U.K. and I was about ready to write her off. However… she was absolutely AMAZING. I had never heard of her before yesterday and I usually HATE SNL musical guests but she was TERRIFIC. My caps in my description pales in comparison to the high-esteem I have for her. I never post on the SNL musical guest (cause usually they’re bland), but she is so stellar that I had to give her separate post.
My roommates and I sort of groaned when it came time for the musical guest but it took less than a minute for her to capture our attention as I know she probably did for many others. To hear an mp3 of the song she sang “Chasing Pavements”, see our audio player below:

I’ve been trying to find out who sung that beautiful song on SNL. I finally googled and found your article. Thank you for providing the MP3 of Chasing Pavements. I have listened to the song over and over again. Adele is wonderful.
I thoroughly agree. I haven’t been this impressed with a new singer in quite some time!!
