Bill Hader in New Gregg Mottola “Alien” Movie

It has just been announced that Bill Hader, along with Seth Rogen, Kristen Wigg, and Jason Bateman will star in a new movie directed by Greg Mottola (from Superbad, Adventureland). Speculation suggests that the plotline will be about an alien who  attempts to escape from the U.S. Government. While these actors have been cast in the new movie, it is not officially known what roles they will play. It is rumored that Seth Rogen will be the voice Paul the alien.

The script for this movie is supposedly fantastic, with great humor and iconic movie references. We will post more information on BHO once we get it. Source.

Bill Hader in Ghost Busters?

This is pure speculation, however, over the past few months there has been a lot of talk on who would be in the new GhostBusters movie (slated for a 2012 release). The original players such as Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson have agreed to reprise their roles and hopefully pass the torch to a newer generation of Ghostbusters. Rumors have been floating around that this new generation could include actors such as Seth Rogen, Steve Carrell, and even our very own Bill Hader.

It has been 20 years since the first two movie installments and while the franchise stayed dormant, it has been given new life with the creation of a Ghostbusters video game (which is set to be released in June 2009). This game has apparently triggered talks on a 3rd Ghostbusters movie.

This is all in the early stages and let me reiterate that Bill Hader as a Ghostbuster is just speculation at this point. But one can only hope to see him added as a member. I look at Hader and automatically think Ghostbusters. What do you think?

Here is a little something to get you in the mood, check out the music player below.

Bill Hader Producer in South Park

Thanks to Jassie for sending me this info (even though I’m extremely late in posting it). Bill Hader has been credited as a producer on the popular TV show South Park. In Time Out New York Magazine, Bill is asked about his gig on South Park in which Hader responds:

Well, it’s really Trey and Matt who kind of write everything, and you’re just in the room kind of helping them. Basically, I’m friends with them and they’re just nice enough to invite me into the room and let me goof around. It’s like a dream come true.
