So, what other forums do you guys like to post on, if any?

I only post on a few

- Killers fansite
- Jeremy Camp fansite
- Bible Forums, where we discuss theology and Christianity
- I used to post on this other site called MediaLine, a journalism message board, but not so much anymore
- MCR message board (again, not so much)

So, how about you guys?

No need to answer if it's too personal...I'm just curious

the only other forum experience I've had is from a MADTV forum that used to be kinda popular.

I know, I know, "The enemy"  right?  But, well, I live in southern california-  the chances of me getting to see a show at SNL are slim to none, where as MAD was right there, free, and totally accessible every two weeks.

But once life started like, getting in the way of actually going to live shows (plus, they fired Ike Barinholtz, my favorite castmember)  it wasn't worth all the drama to actually keep up with the forum. (As if there's not enough melodrama in reality- why put up with it in cyberspace, right?)

I will say this though, I wish I could find a board as devoted to Saturday Night Live as that one was to MAD.  It was nice to meet people who liked something as much as I did.  Unfortunately, I just didn't care for that show so much.

Also, forums can be quite the time vampyres, can't they?

do you mind if I ask how much time you spend on one of your forums per week?

(I wish I spent more on here, but I don't know what I'd do, other than post to myself or allie, lol!)

Ya, sure!!!

I actually don't spend as much time as I used to. Not only that, but it fluctuates. For example, there was a time when I spent quite a bit of time on the Killers website, but then when the topics become drab, I spend more time on other boards....ther's only so much time you can spend looking at pictures of the band, you know?!

At this point, I spend most of my time on the BibleForums website, and most of it is on the weekends. Maybe 5 - 10 hrs./wk. (mostly on the weekends)? It's pretty addicting, especially when you create a topic, and you want to read others' responses.

I can't really spend a lot of time on forums, so I try to make the time that I spend count. If I allowed myself to, though, I could probably spend 15-20 hrs. a week just wasting away in cyberspace.

BTW, I know what you're saying about MADTV....some of the stuff that passes as comedy is just lame. That guy who used to dress up as a baby?! That was just disturbing!!!!!!! The only sketch I ever like from that show was the Ms. Swan sketch...She was great!!!

That being said, though, even SNL has had it's crummy years. I thought the early 80's and late 90's were pretty bad. Remember Rich Hall and Anthony Michael-Hall?! I cringe just thinking about it. I actually think this is the best cast in many years. I love Fred Armisen, too!!!!

Hey all,

Does anyone know if there is a mobile version of the forums here? Thanks.

Update....Nevermind. I just found my answer in the announcements thread.
